If it wasn’t for my Barn Owl, there would be no Field Mouse for you to buy. I finally formed my Owl and a short time later my mice appear as if out of a bale of hay.
I love to form these life beings from the clay but I’s also so intrigued by the intangible essence taking place below the surface. Predator and prey from the same form. Both dependant on each other. Owls need mice to feed to their young and mice need owls to keep their numbers in check so they won’t have a population crash. So much wisdom for us as a Human Society in studying Nature. Why I hope that each of you who “adopts” one of my children, the art itself will help you to better grasph this strange and beautiful world we inhabit.
